Now owned by a larger parent company, KCC Group, which provides access to greater volumes and opportunities within the construction sector in the UK and ROI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview of the Position<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The position of Bench Joiner will be responsible for the production of high quality products including door frames and screens using various hand and mechanised tools. This role is permanent, full-time and reports into the Joinery Supervisor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment<\/li>\n<li>Manufacture and assemble joinery components<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret workshop\/design drawings and schedules<\/li>\n<li>To operate the required machinery including hand tools, saws and spindle moulders<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality standards are met and maintained<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all paperwork is completed in line with Quality Management Systems<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the wood machinery shop<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate knowledge of timber<\/li>\n<li>Possible site visits to survey or carry out repair work<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other duties as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Person<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous workshop experience<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills and determination<\/li>\n<li>High degree of initiative and self-motivation<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and willingness to work some evenings and weekends<\/li>\n<li>Must be a team players<\/li>\n<li>NVQ level 3 (or City &amp; Guilds equivalent) in joinery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you think you would be suitable for this position, please send your CV and covering letter to <strong>careers@thekccgroup.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8542 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/thekccgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/job-picture-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Company Overview \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are a doorset manufacturing company based in Mallusk, Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.
