Acoustic Doors

Soundproofing your spaces for more comfortable interiors.

Thanks to their excellent sound reducing properties, our acoustic timber doors are specified across a range of projects including hospitality, theatre, cinema, education, healthcare, commercial and public sector facilities. In these types of environments there’s also a requirement to comply with fire safety standards so we also manufacture fire rated acoustic timber doorsets to ensure your building meets the required fire regulations, as well as its acoustic performance needs.

We custom design and manufacture our acoustic doors to fit your specific application and soundproofing requirements, and provide various look and feel design choices to allow you to achieve both your design intent and your sound proofing performance needs. Additionally, all of our acoustic doorsets are pre-prepped for ironmongery.

Available in a wide variety of configurations, fire ratings and finishes, our acoustic performance doors are manufactured to the highest standard and offer superior sound control. We also offer the option of integrating certified acoustic and fire-rated vision panels and glazed screens into your doorset, to allow the transmission of light, but not the passage of sound.

Our sound proofing acoustic doorsets come as complete assemblies with frames plus perimeter and threshold seals to reduce the amount of sound transmitted through the door. Offering sound insulation of up to Rw 37dB as standard, which is typically suitable for use in classrooms, meeting rooms, and corporate office suites, we can also cater for more specialist applications, such as auditoriums, theatres, and cinemas, by increasing the acoustic performance of our timber doors to Rw 40dB.
