We were delighted to be involved in this exciting project to redevelop a crucial area in the heart of the prestigious Queens University Belfast. Our parent company KCC Group were involved from the initial design and specification stage, working closely with the design team RPP Architects and the main contractor Felix O’Hare Ltd, to provide integrated bespoke door sets, architectural ironmongery, electronic locking and door automation.

We supplied a series of fire and non fire rated doorsets in walnut with acoustic performance properties due to the nature of the intended use of the building. Some of the doorsets specified were PAS24 certified for enhanced security. We also supplied a combination of non-fire rated and FD30s and FD60s for fire and smoke resistance in a variety of orientations including single, double and leaf and a half with and without vision panels, solid or glazed overpanels or glazed side screens. We worked closely with our parent company right throughout the project to ensure all doors were prepared for KCC’s integrated ironmongery and automation solutions.
