We supplied a full timber doorset solution along with our parent company KCC Group who supplied the ironmongery. The doors were manufactured bespoke to fit within anti-bacterial ppc frames and suit site specific openings, finished in a laminate that provides a smooth and easily cleaned surface making it an ideal solution for health environments such as this.
Along with our colleagues in KCC Group and the design team in Todd Architects we created a bespoke specification to deliver a high performance Elite timber door solution integrated with swing door automation, electric locking and architectural hardware solution throughout the entire building as required.
Our solution included a combination of FD30S and FD60s doorsets across the buildings main stairwells, lobby areas and office areas to provide both fire and smoke protection in line with the buildings fire strategy.
We supplied a series of fire and non fire rated doorsets in walnut with acoustic performance properties due to the nature of the intended use of the building.
Throughout the Front-of-house areas we created a dark walnut high performance timber doorset with appropriate fire rating and performance characteristics.
The architects wanted to accentuate and exaggerate the door height and we used a combination of standard height doors interspersed with unique 2.6metre and 2.9metre high doorsets to bring this vision to life, creating a dramatic effect throughout the building and drawing attention to the generously proportioned, modern office spaces and impressive ceiling heights.
